2 OILy parties

Mallu and DD treated the WHOLE batch (or nearly ) to twi dinners...

They could'nt have been more different ...

One eclectic to the max and the other traditional and yet...

The most obvious points were that while DD gave a Wholly Veggy meal Mallu's fare was a bit on the FOOD side... (that's a really bad take on a my food eats this food joke pls excuse)

Ambience - I love DD's place and so the ambience in both dinners was Amazing... Great Nveg food on the 7th floor terrace I don't think yo can go wrong with that...

Bhat's happy (and deperate) now that the last papers done... Well dude I'm looking foward to your being in Bombay... Although right now I'm looking forward to tommorrow ... YUM

In Music News got SOAD's New album of the net... I think those weirdos released it themselves or something...

Gotta listen...

So there's a neighbour of mine who has a dog that looks rather like a Goat...

Gave me quite a start too when I first took a look...

Also Life sucks without a Sound Card... Need to get a replacement.. NOW...

The dinner we had (at Mahesh LUNCH home) was better than the movie...

'nuff said I guess...

The trouble with the flick was not it's immediate lack of a script or anything resemblig a storyline, but more so the fact that a three joke premise was needlessly stretched and mauled by the forced stuffing of more mirth... uncomfortably so... I mean at times the whole thing resembled a cartoon... Like the ones on POGO or something... :)

Some good overall acting though the kid and the SFX guy need to be lined up and shot...

Man it's a good feeling working of a WiFi ethernet... Aman's Brothers got this live a$$ net up and running at his house a 100mts in either way!!! So you could laze on the shore of the river in the backyard!!! and also Blog chat and play MMORPGs online... Life or Wot Gonna go Play now lots to DO later...

SO the Ol' Comp is down with Laryngitis Hmmmm well actually the Sound Card (ISA in case that means anything to ya) Sorta collapsed due to all the abuse I heaped on it... AND lost the drivers of the 3com so... sittin in Da Mans room typing this on the eve of THE SURAT TRIP... 3 bootl3s of the MexiCAN deviiil hmm me thinks theres goin ta be sum hevee dutee pukeee :) Zats all now only to add that Lands of Lore - Throne of Chaos joins RedAlert and Monkey Island in being a Game to fully engage me for its duration... So Buckethead has been shown the door by Axl Rose happened late last year ...

Don't know whether to be elated (BUCKEThead??) or sad (Axl seems to run through guitarists like Preist ran through drummers)...

The Album consequently has been 'indefinetly postponed' maybe next year maybe never...

In some ohter news I get to go to Surat... Mr Desai has a lot of work to be done in his garden and feels 40 or so close associates if plied with enough ood and b00Z3 will happily stomp through his mothers neat rows of flowers...

Man Consider IT done :)

So will be out of town on the 19th and 20th... Can't wait...

Utter joblessness defi prevails as this week will probably be consumed by the burning questions of "What music do we carry"... "Can your home theater system connect with the Comp"... "Do 7 B33rs qualify as Breakfast??"...

And obviously other priceless gems are to be expected...

Pretty bad performance par kya karen we had the jitters and crashed and burned...

Secondly (and I think more importantly (short term obviously)) INDIAN OCEAN played at in U.I.C.T.

Was an INTENSE show and an even more intense dinner/talk later...

Spirited fellas with a lot of well... Maturity obviously (all being 40+ nearly) but also a little bit of that Humility which I think is only available to those who work their ways up to, frankly, highs from which the views must be quite something...

Took their hurriedly booked hotel rooms in their stride along with a host of other hiccups...
AND played this INSANE 15+ minute Maa Rewa with new lyrics and TWO improv solos...

AND its all on VID
